Through Thick and Thin

A good friend is hard to find. When the going gets tough, a lot of friends will fall to the wayside. This person is lucky enough to have a truly dedicated friend who has proven himself again and again. Our storyteller shared that he recently went through a very traumatic experience with his family. His friend was by his side through it all.

When our storyteller found out that his father had tried to commit suicide, he called up his best friend to tell him about the situation. The best friend immediately rushed to be there for him. He even sat by his side as he did the difficult task of talking to the police and calling his mom. Our storyteller shared that his friend will never know the true impact of his friendship and how much he appreciates him being there when things got tough. What a truly great friend.
