Computer Whiz

This story is told from the opposite point of view. Instead of hearing from the person who unintentionally inspired someone, we get to hear from the person who was inspired! This guy shared that a classmate in high school changed the course of his life by simply showing off a little. The guy showed off a little JavaScript on a school computer, and our storyteller was intrigued.

Fast forward a few years later, and our storyteller is now finishing up his doctorate degree in computer science! He shared that the random guy in high school probably has no idea that his lame attempt at bragging is what started him down the path of computer programming. Pretty cool!
