#25: Oh, Canada
Something I think that a lot of people don’t understand is that if Americans don’t travel internationally, it’s not always because they dislike going anywhere foreign. If you live in continental Europe, you can hop in your car and be in another country in a couple of hours. In America, you can do the same thing and never leave your home state. To get to most other countries is actually really expensive and hard.

That said, it does kind of blow my mind that more Americans don’t visit Canada. It’s close by, there’s a lot of cool stuff to see, and you don’t even have to deal with another language; even the people who speak French usually also speak pretty good English. But maybe, like this guy, a lot of them assume it’s a third-world country so they don’t want to visit.
