#5: Love Lasts

Wouldn’t it be nice if we never fought with the people we care about? If they never did anything to annoy us, and we never did anything to irritate them? Some people want to believe that you should never fight, and if you do, something is wrong with your relationship.

I’m here to argue that everyone fights sometimes; it’s just something that happens when humans coexist. What really matters is not that you always get along; it’s that when you do fight, you don’t let it make you treat that person badly. Love, as this comic points out, means caring for someone even when it’s hard.
