#14: Only You Know What’s Best for You

I think that learning to ignore what other people are saying and do what’s right for us is one of the hardest skills that we can learn. Of course, there will be times and circumstances when listening to other people is absolutely going to be the right choice.

But at other times, you should listen to your own heart first. After all, if you’re making decisions related to where you live, where you work, the things you have around you, etcetera, then you need to remember that you’re the one who’s going to have to live with that decision daily, not the people pressuring you to make those decisions.
