#38: Humans and Dinosaurs Never Coexisted
Movies and books have long led the public to believe that humans and dinosaurs walked the earth simultaneously, even if for a short period, but this isn’t true. They existed tens of millions of years apart. It’s hard to imagine when we only have a lifespan of decades or a century at most, but there were millions of years of evolution between the two.

Wooly mammoths and saber-toothed tigers were much closer to humans than dinosaurs on the timeline, too. Those movies like the popular Ice Age that have them all living in harmony are just plain wrong. It would be interesting to see how something like a wooly mammoth fared against some of the larger dinosaurs, though!
