#24: What Happens to Our Bodies After We Die

In today’s society, we don’t see many dead bodies. They’re sent to the coroner for assessment and buried before we see evidence of hair and nail growth. It’s true, though, that both appear longer. As the skin dehydrates, it exposes more of the nail and hair beds.

The real question here is whether or not it matters. What exactly are we going to do with this information? I guess if it were a genuine phenomenon, they could use science to help us grow healthier hair and nails, but since it’s a falsity, it seems somewhat moot.
