#16: Let’s Put an End to This Misconception

There are a lot of beliefs and misconceptions out there that are essentially harmless; we don’t mind people thinking that fortune cookies originated in China or that The Great Wall of China can be seen from Space. However, some widespread beliefs and misconceptions can be dangerous.

For example, a lot of people refrain from vaccinating their kids for different diseases and infections because they believe vaccines are dangerous. However, there’s no scientific proof of that, even though people have tried hard to find a connection. Such misconceptions can be harmful as they prevent kids from getting the necessary shots.
