North Dakota
North Dakota has earned the distinction of being the least-visited state in the United States, a title it holds partly due to its geographic isolation from the more frequented parts of the country. While its southern neighbor, South Dakota, boasts the iconic Mount Rushmore as a major tourist draw, North Dakota lacks a comparable landmark to attract visitors.

The state does have the National Buffalo Museum, which showcases an important aspect of its heritage, but it hasn’t quite achieved the must-see status of other national attractions. It remains an undiscovered gem for many travelers, awaiting those who seek a quieter, less touristy experience in the heart of the American Midwest.
