Idaho might not top the charts in terms of causing the most road accidents, thanks in part to its sparse population and limited traffic; however, it has earned the reputation of having some of the worst drivers in the United States. While the District of Columbia and New York have their own driving challenges, Idahoans seem to stand out for their less-than-stellar performance behind the wheel.

Whether it’s a lack of adherence to traffic rules or an unfortunate knack for road mishaps, the state’s drivers have garnered this dubious distinction.
