Home Improvement wasn’t just your run-of-the-mill sitcom; it was a ratings powerhouse that dominated the airwaves for almost a whole decade. When it came time to talk about keeping the show going, the network dangled a hefty $50 million carrot in front of Tim Allen, with his co-star Patricia Richardson offered a cool $25 million.
