#34: Delayed Flights

Ah, the airport – a place of endless possibilities and excitement. You arrive with your perfectly packed bags and your hair looking like it stepped out of a shampoo commercial. You’re feeling like a million bucks, ready to take on the world. But then, the dreaded announcement comes over the intercom: your flight is delayed. And so begins the waiting game.

Hours go by, your hair starts to look like a bird’s nest, and you begin to wonder if you’ll ever see the inside of a plane again. Suddenly, that perfectly pressed outfit and that fresh face seems like a distant memory. You’re tired, hungry, and you just want to get on that damn plane. So, next time you find yourself at the airport, remember – no matter how good you look when you arrive, the airport has a way of humbling us all.
