#17: Fashion Over Function

We’ve all seen them – the people wearing their hats the other way around, trying to look cool and trendy. But what they don’t realize is that this fashion statement is anything but practical. Not only does it look a little silly, but it also provides absolutely zero sun protection. It’s like wearing a raincoat upside down and expecting to stay dry.

Maybe it’s time for these hat-wearing rebels to rethink their fashion choices and start prioritizing function over style. Or maybe the rest of us haters should just accept the fact that some people are willing to sacrifice their health and comfort for the sake of looking cool. There’s nothing like a little bit of sunburn to remind us that sometimes, function really is more important than fashion.
