#3: Knowledge Is Power

Smartphones allow us to have access to an entire universe of knowledge at our fingertips, and yet, what do we use it for? Googling “what kind of bread am I?” and watching cat videos on YouTube. It’s a sad state of affairs, folks. We have the power to learn about the mysteries of the universe, the secrets of history, and the wonders of science, and yet we’re more interested in finding out which Kardashian we’re most like.

But hey, who are we to judge? Maybe in some alternate universe, knowing which breed of dog you are based on your taste in pizza is the key to unlocking the secrets of the cosmos. Until then, we’ll just have to content ourselves with our endless supply of pointless information.
