#26: The Corner Store

Here’s a humorous twist on the classic story of a father and husband who goes out to the corner shop for milk and never comes back. In this case, he wasn’t gone for good, but he ends up on a wild goose chase that lasts a full day. Why, you ask? Because there are no corner shops in town! It’s enough to make a grown man weep.

But our intrepid hero soldiers on, determined to find that elusive corner shop no matter what. He asks for directions, he checks Google Maps, he even considers asking the local wildlife for help. But alas, it’s all for naught. In the end, he trudges home, empty-handed and defeated. But hey, at least he got some exercise.
