#23: Wishful Thinking

We all know that making a wish is what you’re supposed to do when you see a shooting star. We don’t even stop to think about what we’re wishing for, we just blurt it out and hope for the best. Maybe it’s for world peace, or maybe it’s for a lifetime supply of pizza. Who knows?

The point is, at that moment, we’re putting our hopes and dreams out into the universe, and that’s kind of beautiful. So go ahead, make that wish. And who knows, maybe it’ll come true. Or maybe it’ll just be a nice moment of whimsy in an otherwise dreary world. Either way, keep looking up. You never know what you might see.
