#22: Christmas

This girl had her heart in the right place, but Santa decided to play a cruel joke on her. It seems her letter to Santa Claus was full of mistakes, and the jolly old elf thought it might be a good idea to help her out with her language skills. Now, most kids would be thrilled with a new toy or some candy, but not this girl.

No, she got a dictionary, which is basically like getting socks for Christmas. We can only imagine the look on her face as she opened the gift, disappointment writ large upon her features. But hey, maybe one day she’ll look back on this moment and thank Santa for his tough love. Or maybe she’ll just be really good at Scrabble.
