#37: A Retro Fainting Couch

Secondhand furniture is truly amazing sometimes. It’s wild to think that someone had this elaborate antique fainting couch in their home. Alas, it eventually ended up in a secondhand shop for someone else to find and take home. The new owner shared this picture, and we can’t get enough. 

There is no indication of how old this fainting couch is, but the fabric looks relatively new. Perhaps the wooden frame is from the Victorian era, and the reupholstered fabric is from a more recent decade. Fainting couches aren’t exactly a common piece of furniture these days. Its new owner will definitely have a conversation starter with this thing!
