#27: Beware of Thrifter!

A lot of new interior design styles are devoid of any character. It’s all straight lines and minimalist white walls. What happened to the quirky decorations that made a house feel like a home? Thankfully, we have thrift stores for that. A shopper found this interesting sign at a thrift store in Negaunee, Michigan. 

Instead of “Beware of Dog,” the sign reads, “Beware of Occupant.” You can’t say they didn’t warn you! According to this shopper, the sign is pretty old. It’s made out of solid brass and weighs quite a bit. There’s not an inch of plastic in sight, which is refreshing. Here’s hoping the new owner hung this sign outside their front door to scare the mailman.
