#17: Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Handmade thrift finds are way better than any old mass-produced secondhand item. Handmade items have their own personality. When you buy something handmade, you know that you’re buying something no one else has. This thrift shopper found these adorable ornaments at their local church thrift store. As you can see, they are the entire cast from The Wizard of Oz!

The gang’s all here! Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion are made out of felt, sequins, and adorable buttons. The attention to detail is amazing. Someone made them with love and warmth that you can’t find in a factory-made ornament. We’re sure this thrift shopper will treasure this find for years to come.
