“Black and Tan” is a pretty cool name for a drink, but “Half and Half” doesn’t sound too bad either. In general, Irish cocktails have quite a lot of creativity behind their names, which makes for great fun when picking one to drink.

You have things like the Coole Swan, Orchard Thieves, and the list foes on. But if you’re wanting a Black and Tan, ask for a Half and Half instead to save yourself the trouble. A pub is just not the place to be bringing up those old painful memories.
