16. Full Speed Ahead!

Only in Germany can you get away with having a highway that has no speed limit. That being said, it’s pretty dangerous if you’re reckless and not used to it, and that’s been a major concern, particularly when it involves visiting foreigners.

And even if there is no speed limit, it’s safe to assume that’s because you’re trusted to be smart enough to have your own. There have been arguments in recent years to add speed limits to more parts of the Autobahn. Maybe that is a good idea.
