#49: The VR Takeover

Tech companies like Apple and Meta have released early-generation headsets that let users experience a new kind of virtual reality. Depending on your attitude toward technology, you either love or hate this new development. No matter how you feel, there’s no denying that VR headsets are probably here to stay. It just remains to see how, exactly, they’ll be used by people. 

Some people think that VR headsets will eventually replace our handheld smartphones. This might happen sooner rather than later, considering that Apple has all the regular phone apps on their headset. VR headsets seem weird now, but they might become normalized in the future. Heck, we might even have phones implanted in our eyeballs one day. Wild.
