#47: Factory Farming Futures

Major food corporations have created a pretty intense production system to feed large amounts of people. Meat, fish, and dairy products are so common that we’ve come to expect these foods whenever and wherever we want. Although this is the norm now, a lot of people are realizing that this might not be the best way to do things. 

Factory farming, commercial fishing, and dairy industries are incredibly inhumane and harmful to the environment. Also, the quality of food produced by these industries isn’t always the best. Sure, we can buy a cheap piece of steak, but what’s the point if it doesn’t taste very good? Each generation has its own eating habits, so it remains to be seen whether or not our current systems will remain the norm.
