#24: Coping Mechanism
There is no denying that even though working in a federal or intelligence agency might be cool, there can be a lot of baggage that comes with it. Sure, fighting crime and the bad guys can be rewarding, but how are you meant to let off steam after a long, intense, and tiring day’s work when you can’t speak to anyone about what you do?

Well, the reality of the situation is that when people don’t have an outlet to speak to their family and friends about their work, they turn to substances to fill the void. Most people talk to their loved ones about their work regardless of what it is, so can you imagine working at the FBI or the CIA and not being able to talk about your day?
