#32: Manual Transmission

Do you know how to drive a car with a manual transmission? If you don’t, you’re not alone. Most cars come with automatic transmission these days. When kids learn how to drive, it’s almost always with an automatic car. The ability to drive a manual seems to be dying off. The only people who know how are usually older or love vintage cars.

Knowing how to drive a stick shift is a valuable skill. More people should attempt to learn! You never know when you’ll be in a situation that calls for driving a manual transmission. If you have the skill, you can impress everyone and come to the rescue. That sounds like a pretty sweet deal.
