Healthcare’s Enormous Cost

Whoa, that’s a lot of money! It’s hard to even wrap your head around a number that big. To put it into perspective, if you were to stack 2.5 trillion one-dollar bills on top of each other, it would reach over 171,000 miles high! That’s almost three-quarters of the way to the moon!

But beyond the sheer magnitude of this number, it’s important to recognize the impact that our healthcare spending has on our economy and our society as a whole. While it’s great that we have access to some of the most advanced medical treatments and technologies in the world, the fact that we’re spending more on healthcare than many other developed countries is cause for concern.
