#29: Disaster Dinner

Christmas Eve is one of those few times of year when it just feels natural for just about everything to go wrong. If you’re going to have a complete and utter disaster of a day, it may as well be one day when your entire family is there to bear witness to it and subsequently deride you for all your faults.

But in all seriousness, if you’re gonna go down, you may as well go down with a bang. If I had to have a bad day I’d rather have the kind of day that is spectacularly bad, that’s memorable enough to tell stories of or write posts about on the internet years later.
