#12: Get a Grip, It’s 2023

I was wondering how long it would take for us to get to the downright cringe-worthy table-side topics that are a staple of just about every family. There’s always one racist Aunt, Stepdad, or sister-in-law sitting there waiting to ruin it for all the rest of us.

I have a proposition that I’ve been wanting to send in to Congress for a while to enact legislation that limits these characters to one racist remark per meal and penalizes them for any additional xenophobic or otherwise cringe-inducing comments. I’m hoping that this is the year it’ll be taken up so those of us who are normal no longer have to suffer in silence.
