The Titanic’s Furry Passengers
The Titanic’s journey wasn’t only significant for its human passengers. Alongside over 1,500 people, the ship carried pets, too. These animals, primarily overshadowed by the tragic event, embarked on the ill-fated voyage, sharing the fate of their owners.

On the Titanic, the elite enjoyed luxury, and their dogs did, too, with first-class kennels and personal caretakers. Only three of the twelve recorded dogs onboard survived the tragedy: two Pomeranians and a Pekinese, saved by their devoted owners.
