#39: Long Live the Lobster
Personally, I don’t want to be a lobster. The bottom of the ocean sounds like a dark, cold, scary place, and if lobsters leave the bottom of the ocean, it’s probably because they are about to become somebody’s dinner. But lobsters do have one characteristic that most of us would find pretty cool.

I mean, who wouldn’t want to essentially never age? Scientists think that lobsters have a lot of a special enzyme that keeps cells from ever getting to the point that they stop dividing—which is what makes the rest of us age. So, in some ways, it would be pretty cool to be a lobster!
