#26: Tigers in Trouble

I can’t decide if this next fact makes me sad about the state of tiger populations in the wild or about the state of animal control regulations in the United States. Look, I get it, Joe Exotic: Tigers are super cool looking. They’re incredibly strong and fast and just fun to look at.

But they really shouldn’t be your pet. Not only is it potentially really dangerous for you, but it can have a massive negative effect on the physical and emotional health of the tiger. If you want to enjoy the beauty of a tiger up close, maybe try watching National Geographic.
