There is no denying that the way we relate to child-rearing today has considerably changed since the 1980s. What one might have gotten away with back then, parents would never dream of doing today. And we are reminded of this exact thing by looking at this photograph…

Whilst this mother carrying her child around the Budapest marketplace in a plastic bag looks like an endearing image, there is something about it that just wouldn’t fly today. However, it is important to state that this child is clear from any danger, with its head sticking out of the bag.
