#4: Don’t Be on the Wrong Side of History

It’s no secret that organizing a union can ruffle some feathers, but to suspend someone without pay indefinitely? That’s just low. It’s like they’re saying, “How dare you try to stand up for yourself and your fellow workers? We’ll show you who’s boss!” And to corner someone in a back room and make them feel unsafe? That’s just downright despicable.

Good on this person for having the presence of mind to record the audio, though. It’s sad that it’s come to this, but sometimes we have to fight fire with fire. Hopefully, this recording can serve as proof of the mistreatment and help hold the once great American chain, Starbucks accountable for its actions.
