#37: Just Give Workers the Rights They Deserve

Instead of addressing the root cause of why the workers were leaving, which was the lack of fair pay and work/life balance, the hospital decided to resort to legal action. It’s clear that the hospital doesn’t value its workers or their well-being and would rather use its power to keep them trapped in a job that doesn’t meet their needs.

This is a prime example of how some companies prioritize profits over people, and it’s unacceptable. The fact that they went as far as getting a judge to issue a temporary order is appalling. Workers deserve to have the freedom to choose where they want to work and should not be held hostage by their employers.
