I just about spit out my drink at this next one. How is this person so right that this photo of Mel Gibson looks eerily like your mom on Christmas morning? First, we’ve got that big feathery hair: a style that was both popular and versatile since it could be seen on both men and women.

And then we’ve got that cigarette. Kids who weren’t around then might be surprised to find out how ubiquitous smoking was back in the day, before people in the country came to their senses and realized that maybe we should not expose children to secondhand smoke.
