It Used to Be the Best Feeling in the World

When you’re a kid, there is nothing better in this entire world than a snow day. Of course, as an adult, I look back and imagine how much of a problem that must have caused for any families that didn’t have a parent who could stay at home. But I didn’t care about that when I was a kid! I was just excited to get a day off school!

Any time it started to snow, I was watching out the window with hopeful anticipation, wondering if this would be the storm that got so bad that we couldn’t get to school. Unfortunately, I lived in a cold area, so they were prepared for snow. It had to be a snowpocalypse before they’d actually cancel school.
