#5: Nashville Memories

Everyone has photos that have been in their family for generations that give us a glimpse into the lives of our ancestors and their homes. These photos help us piece together and imagine how our loved ones lived all those years ago before we were even born.

What is it about a colored picture which makes it seem like real life, compared to black and white photos? This is somebody’s great, great grandfather’s Nashville home photographed in 1896. And since this person had the address, they decided to put it into Google Maps and compare how the two houses look today!
