#23: Entrance to the City of York, England – 1865 vs. 2015

We live in a very different world today than what existed 200 years ago. So many things about the ways in which we live our lives are very different which have undoubtedly affected the cultural differences that we have experienced between the different time periods.

For example, these days we don’t necessarily have a grand entrance, or even one specific entrance in order to get into or leave a specific city. But back then, there were certain ways of doing things. These days the old entrance just looks like a medieval, relic from a long time ago.
