#20: National Parks Are National Treasures
There are many places in the world that don’t have access to beautiful, vast, and sacred national parks, forests, and mountain range like the ones that exist in the United States. It might not seem special because you grew up with it, but it is important to protect these areas.

Theodore Roosevelt was a man known for many things, but one of the legacies he left behind were the many national parks, forests, and public land. There are more than 220 national reserves and over 230 acres of public land that Roosevelt himself brought into fruition. These places can not be harmed, and we have his legacy to thank for that!
