#19: Church St. Martin, Cologne, Germany – 1946 vs. 2021
There is no denying that when it came to WWII it took a really long time rebuilding and restoring the many damaged buildings and streets as a result of the fighting. The saddest part about the whole thing is that many historical buildings were either diminished or seriously affected in this period.

Many churches like Church St. Martin in Cologne, Germany were inadvertently affected by the warfare, resulting in this much-needed restoration. Well, as you can see, a lot of work was put into it and the front buildings over the years, and in 2021 it can be said that it has been restored to its former glory.
