#15: Town Square, Uelzen Germany – April of 1945 vs. 2021

When you have lived in a place your whole life, it can be hard to imagine a time when that place was either under threat or might have been taken. But when it comes to war, that is generally what happens, especially on a continent like Europe, where almost everything is connected by land.

First of all, the way in which these two pictures have been submerged genuinely makes you feel as though you are experiencing two different moments in history. Although one of these moments happened to be the battle of the Rhine in April of 1945 during WWII.
