#25: The Putzar Castle Ruins and Its Sentinel Tree in Germany

Putzar Castle, misleadingly termed for its ruins comprising two mansion houses, stands veiled in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district, Germany. The site includes ‘Joachimsbau,’ occupied till 1970, and the decrepit ‘Ulrichsbau’ from the 18th century, guarded by a tree atop its gate.
