Maeva Marshall

Despite what it looks like, Maeva Marshall wasn’t born with her freckles, and they’re only half the reason why she became famous. The story behind her freckles is what makes Marshall an inspiration to so many people. A few years back, the fashion model suffered a stroke, and during her recovery, she’s suffered from an allergic reaction to her medicine.

This allergic reaction constituted in second-degree burns, that turned to freckles over time. Today, Marshall uses her story of success to raise awareness to the reasons for suffering a stroke at a young age, as well as to encourage positive self-image; she wants to show the world that being different is okay.
