#52: It Wasn’t His Time to Go

Even if you aren’t a big fan of literature, you must be familiar with the name Ernest Hemingway, one of the greatest and most important American novelists. Some would say he had an obsession with death, as you can see in his books, so it’s interesting to learn that he’s cheated death more than once.

The writer had a very adventurous spirit and often put himself in life-endangering situations. He has survived not one but two plane crashes, and he was believed to be dead for almost 24 hours. Maybe his fearlessness is part of what made him such a great writer. Whatever it was, we hardly see writers like him anymore.
