#48: Radioactive
You probably know the name Marie Curie, one of the most famous (and actually, one of the only) women physicists of all time. Besides being an accomplished female scientist, she’s known for discovering the elements of radium and polonium. She died in 1934 at the age of 67.

According to this fact, working with radioactive elements in a contaminated environment for years leaves its mark on your body years after you are gone. Her contributions to science had a long-lasting effect on her body! So much so that her body was placed in a coffin lined with an inch of lead.
