#4: Police Training

I don’t know why, but for some reason, I found this fact pretty surprising. For some reason, you wouldn’t think it requires three years of higher education to become a police officer, but that’s the requirement in Norway. Of course, in every country, you have to go through training to become a police officer, but a 3-year university degree?

That’s the first I’ve heard of that! Besides training, which is a given, I feel like you need good people skills and good instincts to be a good police officer. You need to be quick on your feet and be able to function under pressure, and that’s not something you can always learn, even at the finest university.
