#29: It’s a Match!

Today, we’re all familiar with Tinder, one of the biggest and most popular dating apps of the past years. If you haven’t used it yourself, you must know at least one person who used Tinder hoping to find a life partner or just a one-night stand. But did you know where it all started?

Apparently, Tinder made its very first match in Antarctica back in 2014. It matched two scientists who were visiting the continent for research purposes. Since then, over 60 billion matches have been registered on the app! We wonder how many of those ended in a happily ever after.
