#22: Ethan’s Keeper

We talked about the special bond between humans and dogs, but what about the special bond some people form with their cats? While cats are usually perceived as selfish, independent creatures, that’s not always the case, and they are capable of caring for their owners and showing them love.

This cat surely cared a lot for his owner, Ethan, and jumped to his rescue when he was being attacked by bullies outside their home. He also used to sleep outside Ethan’s room every night to protect him. How sweet is that? Having a pet really does pay off in ways we can’t imagine. This story makes me want to go out and adopt a cat.
