Brandon Marshall
Before Brandon Marshall became a wide receiver in the NFL, he was just another kid growing up in Pittsburgh, Florida, and Georgia. He grew up in some pretty tough areas as a young kid, and those experiences would affect his mental health and decisions as an adult. Even as a professional football player, Marshall had some run-ins with the law.

Marshall has repeated domestic violence offenses on his record, but it seems that he was able to turn things around with therapy. In 2014, Marshall shared that he was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and was encouraged by his agent and assistant at the time. Getting adequate access to mental health resources is no easy task, and Marshall counts himself as one of the lucky ones.
